Restoring the hôtel Royal was not only changing the decor. We needed to connect with the venue’s spirit; we tried to work in coherence with its history to make it as attractive as it always has been. Nevertheless the point is not either to copy a well passed era by doing “fake Art Nouveau”. It all comes down to finding the right distance and the adequate detail.
